The Globedrum

The American Percussion Globe drum is a drum mounted in an inverted arch, which allows for adjusting the drum from perpendicular to horizontal, and any position in between.  The legs to the stand are 28" high but can be made shorter if necessary.  The two wings which protrude from either side hold three types of beaters, a puffy lambs wool beater a bamboo brush and a Styrofoam ball beater.  These wing apertures make it easier to change beaters without stopping the performance.  The globe drum can come in sizes from 12"to 24". The one pictured is priced at $450.00 and comes with the drum, stand and three pairs of beaters.
