T.A.o.S. Records

T.A.o.S. ( The Art of Sound ) Records was created as a label for mostly  improvised music using the sound sculptures that I make. I invite musicians to Sonart Recording Studio and record what was played, only at a later date to edit , mix and master the music. I now have a number of cds that I’ve done that I will share on the T.A.o.S Records  website, which is under construction. All of the cds can be purchased through this site. Listed below are song samples on the cds. American Percussion instruments and sound sculpture are used on all of these recordings.

Country Aria - Bronze medal Global Music Award

Country Aria a song I wrote many years ago and decided not to record it until I found the right singer for the song. Well, I did just that 40 years later in " Saffo" A great vocalist from Nigeria. I played all of the instrumental parts and Saffo did all of the vocals except for Martin Keith who played upright bass and Bucky Milam playing flugelhorn. Basically, this song is about my summer days down by a stream where I grew up, as a young boy, in farm country in upstate NY. If you listen to the lyrics to the song you will get the day in a life of a young country boy. Recorded @ sonart recording studio.com. On T.A.o.S. Records. This song won a bronze medal Global Music Award !!! Folk/jazz and composition/composer

Tree  Yo

Gus Mancini - Keys, Brian Melick - Percussion and Ken Lovelett  playing  the sound sculpture " Conglomeration ".
