The Spring Thing                                               
This world percussion instrument is a resonating chamber with a spring stretched across a wood bridge that helps to give the spring pitch. When you hit the wood chamber the spring resonates as well making the duration longer and when you hit the spring the chamber gives volume, depth and duration to the spring. The package includes ; the  spring thing , a pair of felt mallets and a padded case with shoulder strap .  This instrument is made to order. One important thing about the spring thing is that the spring is under a lot of tension so PLEASE  ! do not  try to adjust the screws holding the spring to the body of the wood chamber.
